The Holocaust was one of the most cataclysmic events in world history. It was a genocide in which Adolf Hitler and his Nazi collaborators killed about 11 million people: including 6 million Jews, about 1.5 million of which were children, and an additional 5 million non-Jews. The deaths caused by the Holocaust are well known and widely remembered, but what many people don't know about are what have come to be known as the "Twins of Auschwitz." This website will explore the gruesome experiments performed on twins during the holocaust, as well as the motives behind perpetrator Josef Mengele.
